Drinking water and fire pumps in Housing and Development Bank Building in 12 Syria Street, Mohandessin

The company has carried out a project to develop and raise the efficiency of drinking water and fire pumps of the administrative building affiliated to Housing and Development Bank located in 12 Syria Street, Mohandessin, as the company has:

  • Renewed the electrical networks feeding each pump through replacing the old networks and paths with new ones inside waterproof closed trays and copper cables in accordance with the required specifications and designs.
  • Supplied, operated and tested an automatic and manual operation panel for 3 Calpeda pumps with a capacity of 15 hp working with an operating system and especially prepared control system for that according to the required specifications as follows:
    • Two automatic pumps are operating according to control signals coming from float valves for filling tanks located in the top of the building alternately 12 hours for each pump.
    • The third pump serves as an alternative for filling the tanks in case of malfunctions in the two main pumps.
    • The high standards of control, protection and standard quality have been applied using control float valves, devices of dry mode stoppage, alarm sirens, earth switch devices, etc.
  • The efficiency of the pumps and pipes used in the system has been raised in parallel with raising the efficiency of water networks and pipes in the building.
  • The project has been implemented within 3 working days from the date of receiving the assignment order, noting that the implementation period was after the building’s official working hours to maintain the water system of the building.
